Is it better than DJI Osmo Pocket? No, it’s not, but it’s reasonable choice. This is a short review with the most important information.
Build quality and design
Plastics are well made. Design’s very similar to DJI Osmo Pocket.
Video quality – daylight
Daylight video quality is great. If you will add a little bit more contrast in Adobe Premiere (or any other software), then it’s even better.

Seriously, you can create pretty nice movies with this thing.
Video quality – night/dark
Well, in poor lighting conditions video quality is pretty bad – there’s a “grain” visible (automatic high ISO). If it’s almost dark, then there’s just a black screen! I think this camera should only be used in daylight.
Firmware update
It’s easy to update firmware. It’s very important to use the latest version (when I’m writing this review, then latest update is: 2020-07-17)! Here’s official Fimi website with firmware updates: https://www.fimi.com/fimi-palm-gimbal-camera.html
Pros
- Pretty cheap (around 160 USD),
- Good video quality in daylight,
- Good gimbal stabilisation,
- Good battery
Cons
- You need to update firmware, because factory versions are not the best,
- Bad video quality at night or dark evening,
- Problem with connection between app and fimi palm,
- Average audio quality
Basically if all you need is a good video quality in daylight and nice stabilisation, then it’s a good idea to buy it. I got it from here
